Ryan Driscoll has been recently named Captain of the Holy Cross Crusader Hockey team for the second consecutive year. For the first three years of his college career, Ryan finished in the top 5 in all three offensive categories.

In 107 career games he has 19 goals and 34 assists for 53 career points. He has played in every game except for three, while at Holy Cross. Also he has 12 career powerplay goals and one shorthanded goal. Coach Paul Pearl was quoted as saying, "Ryan is a determined player. He is a really tough kid and will do what ever that is asked of him." (this from a Holy Cross hockey release, August 5, 2008). Pearl was also quoted in a release on October 8, 2008, as describing Ryan's game, " Ryan is so versatile in that he can kill penalties and he can also play on the power play. He really got better in winning draws which is big for us. Ryan is a dependable solid player who also has the ability to score goals."

Ryan started his youth hockey days at Dorchester and eventually moving on to Thayer Academy before starting his college career at Holy Cross.
