Dorchester Youth Hockey provides youth, regardless of race, creed, or national origin with the opportunity to practice the ideals of sportsmanship and fair play.
Our Learn to Skate Program is for children from ages 3 and up. It is for 1st and 2nd year skaters. It runs on Saturdays at 3:00pm and 4:00pm from late November until Late February. The cost for the 2022/2023 season is $225. All participants must have a hockey helmet with full face mask. Stephanie O'Sullivan and the staff from O'Sullivan Hockey Academy provide the on ice instruction on behalf of Dorchester Youth Hockey. Registration will be announced in the fall.
Travel Teams
Travel teams play in either the Valley Hockey League or Presidents League. The Girls only team(s) play in the Middlesex Yankee Conference. The cost for the 2022/2023 season is $1000 for Mites and $1300 for Girls, Squirts, PeeWees and Bantams. Midget Full Season is $1000. The season is from September to March. In March we hold registration and tryouts for travel teams Mites-Midgets. There is a player deposit due at registration of $300 for Mites-Midgets, $300 of which is a non-refundable tryout fee.
Instructional Hockey/Mite Development
For first year players ages 5-7 years old. Instructional players compete in the Town Line League out of Hyde Park and consists of 1 hour skills sesssion on Wed, practice on Sat and games on Sunday. The cost for the 2022/2023 season is $1000.
