Learn To Skate / Learn to Play
**Registration for the 2026-2027 session will open September 10th**
Our Learn to Skate Program is for children from ages 3 and up and is designed for those new to skating looking to learn the fundamentals such as skating forwards, backwards, stopping and most importantly getting back up!
After a few weeks, our on ice instructors will identify those ready to make the jump to Learn to Play and that group will begin their hockey instruction down the other end of the ice.
Stephanie O'Sullivan and the staff from O'Sullivan Hockey provide the on ice instruction on behalf of Dorchester Youth Hockey.
Ages
Child(ren) must be three (3) years old by the start of the program. Exceptions can be made upon request.

When
LTS/LTP begins on Saturday November 14th and ends on Saturday March 6th
Session 1 = 2pm
Session 2 = 3pm
Cost
The cost for participating in the LTS/LTP Program is $250 per child.
Equipment
All participants are required to wear skates and hockey helmets with a full facemask. Bicycle helmets are not permitted.
Please place a piece of tape with your child’s first name on the front of his/her helmet.
